Our Loop buses ‘Loop’ around Thanet up to every 8 minutes, offering a simple way to travel between Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, and Westwood.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the Loop service.
Why board the Loop?
Linking the seaside towns of Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate with QEQM hospital and Westwood Cross shopping centre, the Loop has something for everyone - whether you’re a commuter, a tourist or someone needing to get to the hospital. There are also some great ‘hidden gems’ to be discovered, we’ve put together some example itineraries to help you explore along the route:
The Loop buses are kitted out with everything you could need for a comfortable ride - from free Wi-Fi and USB charging sockets to double-padded leather seats. Ultra-low emission ‘Euro 6’ engines mean greener public transport for Thanet plus they’re the first buses in our fleet to feature next bus stop audio and visual announcements.
And you can enjoy your journey knowing that you’ve got yourself a good deal – an unlimited day ticket costs just £4.20* and you can add a 'kid for a quid'. Buy tickets onboard, on the Stagecoach Bus App or on our website. See more about tickets in the 'How much does it cost' section below.
