Starting June 5th 2017, Stagecoach will begin our annual Green Week. Our annual Green Week helps promote environmental awareness among our staff and customers.
Green Week is an important part of Stagecoach's commitment to become an even greener business. Stagecoach is investing heavily in its sustainability strategy, designed to reduce the company's carbon footprint. You can read more on what we do throughout Stagecoach here.
This year's theme is 'Delivering Solutions'.
Throughout the week Stagecoach Wales will be running a variety of customer and staff events to encourage green solutions being used everyday.
We will be encouraging you, as our customers, to join us in our Green Week activities.
Daily Twitter takeovers by our management and director give you the chance to ask your questions direct.
Keep an eye out for the lovely members of our team for our Green giveaways in Blackwood, Cwmbran and Pontypridd.
As a customer of Stagecoach you are already part of the solution to the growing challenges of climate change, congestion and poor air quality. This image represents how one full double deck bus can remove up to 75 cars from the road – thus freeing up road space, reducing overall emissions levels and helping to improve air quality.
Tweet us @StagecoachWales and show us how you are making a change to be a little greener and taking part in Green Week.
The whole team at Stagecoach will also be encouraged to take part in a wide range of Green Week activities.
Here at Stagecoach our plans range from joining local environmental activities such as litter picks, challenging our lunch time decisions with an 'eat green challenge' where only green coloured foods are allowed to 'paper amnesty' where we will avoid printing wherever possible.
We will be keeping you all updated with our progress on Twitter and sharing some interesting green facts.
