The Royal Welsh

The Royal Welsh is famous for it's livestock competitions. Entries travelling from all over Wales & England compete. It's great for a family day out as the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and much more!

Dates: Monday 18th of July until Thursday 21st of July

You can get to this event using our T4 service. It's just a 10 minute walk from the Groe bus stop in Builth Wells.

Merthyr's Street Chilli Festival

Fancy seeing what Merthyr Tydfil has to offer? Well why not go to Merthyr's Street Chilli Fiesta? There are over 100 types of chilli products you can try! Go with a group of friends and see who can handle the hottest Chilli.

Date: Saturday 25th of June

You can travel from Cardiff, Pontypridd or Aberdare to Merthyr Tydfil Bus Interchange. The event is about a 5 minute walk from the bus interchange to Penderyn Square.

Trago Mills Family Colour Fun Run	Wednesday 25th of May	Services; 6 & 9 toward Aberdare & Glynhafod (these services do not go into Trago Mills). Service 23 to Tywyncarmel (this service goes into Trago Mills)
Merthyr Rising	Friday 10th of June until Sunday 12th of June	All Merthyr Tydfil Services stop into Merthyr Tydfil's Bus Interchange!
Aberdare Festival	Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th of June	You and your family can hop on any of these services; 7, 8, 9, 6 & 11. You can then hop off at Aberdare Park Lower Gates!
Armed Forces Family Fun Day	Saturday 18th of June	You can use any of these services; 60, 61, 78, 132 & T4 and hop off at Ynysangharad Park Gates Bus Stop
Aberdare Park Road Races	Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th of July	You and your family can save some time parking and hop on any of these services; 7, 8, 9, 6 & 11. You can then hop off at Aberdare Park Lower Gates!
Big Welsh Bite	Saturday 6th of August	Use any of these services services; 60, 61, 78, 132 & T4. The bus stop you need is called Ynysangharad Park Gates

Torfaen Food & Drink Festival	Saturday 28th of May	You can board our 2, 23 & X3 Services and hop off at Grange Road bus stop and walk a couple of minutes to Cwmbran Stadium!
Cwmbran Big Event	Saturday 11th of June	Hop on ourX24 which stops right outside Cwmbran Boating Lake. We will have our own stall there too, come say hello!
Autism Pride Festival - Family Fun Day 2022	Saturday 18th of June	The bus stop you would need is Panteg House, you can hop on any of these services; 21, X3 & X24

Artisan Food, Drink & Gift Market at Porthcawl	Friday 20th of May	You can travel to Bridgend using our 172 Service, hop off at Bridgend Bus Station and catch the X2 First Cymru bus to John Street, Porthcawl
A Dog's Trail	Friday 8th of April until Sunday 5th of June	If you and your family are travelling during the week, you can catch our 172 Service to Bridgend then hope on an X2 Service by First Cymru to Porthcawl. However, if you're travelling on a Sunday you can stay on our 172 Service all the way to Porthcawl.
In It Together Festival	Friday 3rd of June until Sunday 5th of June	You can book Big Green Coach from 3 different locations or you can catch the First Cymru Service X1 from Cardiff or Bridgend Bridgend - Simply hop on our 172 Service to Bridgend Bus Station and then walk to Bridgend Shopping Centre for pick up. Cardiff - You can hop on our 86 Service to Cathays Park, Park Place Stop RC or you can use our 132 Service to Cathays Park, College Road RK as the pickup point is at Corbett Road. Newport - Travel from Bargoed, Blackwood, Tredegar, Risca or Cwmbran to Newport Railway Station. You can use our Service 50, 151, 56 & R1 to get there!
Elvis Festival	Thursday 22nd until Sunday 25th of September	Elvis is a big festival that happens every year in Porthcawl! Why not hop on our 172 Service to join the festivities
