We are removing some ticket types to simplify our range and make it easier for customers. We remain committed to offering multi-journey tickets, ensuring excellent value for money. Customers also continue to benefit from hassle free travel by using the Pay As You Go payment system. By tapping on and off to pay for their travel, customers will automatically benefit from capped daily and weekly travel, ensuring they never pay more than they need.
We will be removing some return tickets from sale for adult fares on select services. Child and mytravelpass fares will continue to offer a return option. For a full list of services that will continue to offer returns, click here.

From the 1st March 2025, South Wales All Zones daily and weekly tickets will only be available to buy on the Stagecoach Bus App or by using our Pay As You Go payment system.
For 28 day MegaRiders, these will only be available to purchase on the Stagecoach Bus App.
Child and MTP tickets will still be available to purchase on bus.
We have tried to keep our fares as low as possible, and in simplifying our ticket range, reduce the price of some tickets or made no fare changes.

Pay As You Go is a flexible way to buy your bus tickets, just tap on when you board, tap off when you get off, and we'll do the rest. There’s no need to carry cash or buy a ticket from the driver, you don't even need to tell the driver where you are heading.
The cost of your bus journey is worked out for you automatically, using your tap on and tap off to calculate the correct fare. With our daily and weekly caps*, you'll never pay more than the equivalent ticket.

Our 7 day and 28 day MegaRiders offer great everyday value with savings of up to 40%* compared to buying seven DayRider tickets. With unlimited travel in your area, the more you travel, the more you save!
As 7 Day MegaRiders purchased onboard or online come loaded on Smartcards, they can easily be topped up online, with the ticket active on the card within 2 days of purchase. Remember to register your Smartcard so its protected if it gets lost or stolen, and so you can be reassured that it’s money well spent.

Our drivers do accept cash but where possible, please try to pay with small notes and coins, we're unable to give change for high value notes
