There are lots of great events in and around Cardiff this Spring

 

March/April

  • Don’t miss Friendsical, an original and unique new parody musical inspired by the gang in Friends, the iconic TV show. Showing at The New Theatre between Tuesday 17th - Saturday 21st March 2020. Grab tickets here
  • Becoming Richard Burton, this brand new exhibition follows the remarkable story of how Richard Jenkins, the boy from Pontrhydyfen and Taibach, Port Talbot, became Richard Burton, the international star of stage and screen. On at the National Museum from 4th April until 6th September. Check for tickets here
  • Get down to the Wales Millennium Centre this April to catch the breath-taking We Will Rock You and the smash-hit Million Dollar Quartet. See here  for more details. 
  • The Big Museum Easter Trail - National Museum Cardiff between 10th April 2020-13th April 2020, 10am-3pm. Join in on the fun at the annual family Easter trail, solve the clues and follow the trail around the Museum, then head back to the start to claim your egg-citing prize. No need to book in advance, just turn up and start the fun! Suitable for children age 4+, cost £3.50 per trail (one prize issued for each trail purchased) See  here  for more details. 
  • Kick off the gardening year at Cardiff, packed with seasonal ideas for the garden, spectacular floral displays and fun family activities at the RHS Flower Show between 17th and 19th April 2020. See here for more details.
  • Cardiff Kids Lit Fest The award-winning family festival returns with an exciting new format and an inspiring programme of authors, illustrators and workshops, all taking place on one jam-packed weekend in City Hall and National Museum, Cardiff on 25th & 26th April 2020.
