We'll be running local bus services right through the holiday season, only taking a break on Christmas Day. There'll be special timetables on our 1 and 2 routes on Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Plan your journey and check for your best value fare today.

South West Falcon

The South West Falcon, which connects Exeter 24/7 with Plymouth, Taunton, Bristol Airport and Bristol City Centre is only taking Christmas Day off this year with a special timetable on Boxing Day and through the night services on New Year’s Eve and into New Year's Day.

Celebrate Christmas in Plymouth! 

Plymouth is being turned into a Winter Wonderland this Christmas, with everything from log cabin style stalls, real snow, a snowflake trail, reindeer, fabulous lights and decorations, to a Santa-driven train! Explore Plymouth this Christmas.

The Barbican lights switch on takes place on 26 November and, from the same weekend, is also set to host the Barbican Theatre’s Christmas Carol Tours around the historic streets on 25-26 November, and 9-10 December. There'll also be a fantastic Barbican Parade Stage programme comprising of performances from local community groups and choirs, theatre groups and schools, each bringing the traditions of Christmas to life. 

The Royal William Yard will be celebrating Christmas with a variety of different markets. Enjoy their delicious food market (2-3 December) or pick up an unusual gift or two at their Native Makers Christmas Market (16-17 December), where local artisan makers will be showcasing their fabulous crafts, with, of course, plenty of festive sparkle! 

 
An extra special festive treat and a day not to be missed will be the traditional festive celebrations on Sunday 26 November. Starting at midday, bringing some extra special Christmas magic will be the wonderful Reindeer for visitor to see and Screech Owl Sanctuary will be bringing along several owls too. There will be a number of stalls on The Parade including, arts and crafts, face-painting and mince pies, along with a gorgeous 20ft Christmas tree.
 
The popular Waterfront Snowflake Trail will also be returning (26 November - 7 January). Families can enjoy a walk and explore Plymouth’s stunning Waterfront, whilst following the trail cards to locate the Snowflakes. Collect any ten Snowflake names to enter into the free prize draw to win fabulous prizes including a PlayStation 4, a 7” tablet, theatre tickets, free tickets to city attractions and gift vouchers. Trail cards are available from the Tourist Information Centre and participating businesses, or can be downloaded from www.visitplymouth.co.uk.
 

It's panto time!

The Theatre Royal's panto is Peter Pan starring Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell in Eastenders) as the dastardly Captain Hook. We've got a family ticket to giveaway to this star studded show!
