Following changes to government guidance in England, from 19th July more seats are available on our buses and standing is allowed.

Please continue to wear a face covering throughout your journey, unless you’re exempt.

Timetables in the South West

Timetable Changes from 30th May 2021 

From the 30th May we have a few timetable changes across our network, mostly localised to our North Devon network .

The following routes will see some tweaks to running times to improve overall service reliability:

Routes 6/6A  Exeter and Bude via Okehampton (6) or Launceston (6A)

Route 9 Bishop's Tawton – Barnstaple

Route 10 Bus Station . Gorwell Circular

Route 11 Barnstaple Bus Station – Westacott

Route 12 Barnstaple – Roundswell

Route 14 Bideford Morrisons - East-the-Water - Bideford Quay

Route 16  Bideford Quay - Appledore - Westward Ho! - Bideford Quay

Route 21 Georgeham and Westward Ho! (21) or Appledore (21A) via Ilfracombe, Bideford and Barnstaple

Route 319 Barnstaple and Bude via Hartland

Rout372 Barnstaple and Bradworthy

Route 71 Holsworthy - Great Torrington – Barnstaple

Route 75 Buses between Great Torrington and Bideford

On the same date we’ll also be welcoming back our open top route 222 connecting Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth. Plus we’ll be introducing a brand new open top service to North Devon; the 21C linking Barnstaple with Braunton, Saunton and Croyde. View the open top timetable here. 


In Exeter we’ll be introducing a change to the 39, running an extension to Widecombe in the Moor, hourly, on a Saturday, view the timetable here. 


Keeping you moving 

As restrictions ease across England, we’re safely and steadily making more seats available on local buses, when busy. This means that all forward facing seats can now be used. Standing or using other seats is not allowed. We’re still working hard to keep you safe, visit here to find out more on the measures we have in place so you can travel with confidence.

To help keep everyone safe we’ve  employed extra cleaners to make sure all of our buses have a thorough clean each day. If your journey is not time critical, why not try our busy bus indicator in our live map view on our app? This will show you the busiest and quietest times to travel, based on how many people usually use the service. 

There are also some additional steps you can take to help us keep you and our drivers safe-  make sure you’re wearing your face covering when you board, and that you open up a window to keep the bus ventilated. Also, why not pre pay for your ticket on our mobile app, info here, or pay for your ticket by contactless when you board.
