In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

From 17 June 2018 work begins on the Exeter bus station redevelopment. Whilst the new bus station is being built, temporary measures will be in place to enable services to continue operating smoothly.
There will be temporary bus stands in Sidwell Street, Paris Street and Cheeke Street
Services that will remain at the bus station are: 2, B, 4/4A/4B, 6/6A, 9/9A, X38, 39, 46, 52, 7/7A plus other local operator services: 173, 359, 360, 366, 369, 647, 675, 677, 678, 679, 863
Services that will relocate to alternative stops are: 1/1A/1C, 5/5A/5B/5C, 55/55A/55B, 56/56A, 57, 58, 155, C service to Sandy Park on Chiefs match days
As a result of these changes, some city bus services will depart from different stops in Sidwell Street
Stands for National Express and Megabus will also be situated in Sidwell Street
The Travelshop at the bus station will remain open
Toilet facilities at the bus station will remain open and additional toilet facilities will be available at Shopmobility in Paris Street
Alternatively, pick up a leaflet from the Travelshop and from the Exeter Visitor Information & Tickets Office in Dix's field.
