In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

We pride ourselves on our commitment to achieving high standards of service throughout the region. These high standards not only apply to the quality and efficiency of our buses but also to the vital staff who make our company what it is. The quality of our bus drivers is of the utmost importance both to our customers and to our company; below are the essential requirements to make a great bus driver:
Lisa Isaacs returned to Stagecoach after a career break. She says, “I thoroughly enjoy my job and returned to driving because it’s so much less stressful than other careers. I never take my work home with me – I enjoy each day then switch off. and enjoy my free time too.”
“I completely disagree with those who think driving a bus is all about going around in circles. There’s no time to get bored. And, if you do fancy a change of scene, you can request to be moved to another roster that has different routes.”
“Remember you’re not driving around by yourself all day. On my routes I get a lot of commuters who you get to know by name and it feels like a personal service.”
