What you need to become a Bus Driver
To get started as a bus driver for Stagecoach you'll need a car driving licence that you've had for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
Once you've passed your assessment there are a few steps to go through, including a pre-employment medical (we'll cover the cost), in order that you can obtain your provisional Category D on your driving license. You're in the driving seat as the face of Stagecoach - playing an incredibly important role each day to safely transport our customers to work, to education, to our cities, towns and villages, to healthcare and communities and days away and nights out on time.
You'll get to know some of your customers by name, learn new things, and become part of a friendly and diverse team.
