Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales from the 27 July it will be compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Temporary Timetable Changes in West Scotland

Government Coronavirus Measures - Changes to Bus Services

Last Updated Thursday 25th June 2020 - Temporary Bus Timetables

From Monday 29th June 2020 Phased Increase in Bus Services

Stagecoach has confirmed that it will be gradually increasing bus service levels in Scotland from Monday 29th June 2020, following the Scottish Government’s announcement that more lockdown restrictions will be lifted.

In addition to timetable changes, social distancing measures will be implemented across our bus network.  Maximum capacity on board has been reduced to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. To help you get on your way, we’ve introduced a new Busy Bus indicator on the Stagecoach Bus App.  Remember you can also pay via smartcard, contactless (£30 cap), or buy your tickets on the app.

We have worked hard to ensure that new timetables meet the needs of local communities and we are continuing to work with local authorities to ensure bus fleets are deployed where they are needed most.

We would like to remind customers that it is compulsory to wear a face covering when travelling by public transport in Scotland, find out more about how to stay safe when travelling by bus
