Park & Ride into Cheltenham

Free parking and buses direct into Cheltenham 

 
Explore Cheltenham the easy way and let us take you straight to the shops. 

If you're visiting from the south, you'll find Arle Court Park & Ride   just off the M5, Junction 11 at GL51 6SY. From  the north, use Racecourse Park & Ride, just off Evesham Road at GL50 4SH.

Our buses run frequently throughout the day and the journey into Cheltenham takes 13 minutes on average by bus. Your parking is free, simply pay our driver by cash or contactless card as you board the bus.

 


Arle Court

Buses run up to every 20 minutes on a Monday to Saturday, and every 15 minutes on a Sunday.  Buses start from 7am and run until 7pm.

Cheltenham Racecourse
The D&E bus service runs up to every 10 minutes  on a Monday to Saturday and every  20 minutes on a Sunday.

  Tickets can be purchased on bus using cash or contactless card. If you're planning ahead of your visit, you can also buy tickets on the Stagecoach Bus App or online from our website.

Free parking

We offer free parking for Park & Ride users at Arle Court and Cheltenham Racecourse.

 

There is a parking system at Arle Court, please follow the instructions below:

  • Enter your vehicle registration into the touchscreen machine next to the bus shelter
  • You'll receive a reusable ticket with a QR Code. Keep this safe.
  • After paying for your bus ticket, please scan your QR code ticket using the reader on the bus. This will confirm your free parking.

Day tickets 

  • It's £4 for a Cheltenham Dayrider for your journey into town and back (or £3.70 on our   Stagecoach Bus App  ).
  • Two people travel together with a £4.80 return from your driver.
  • If you're taking the family, two Under-16s can travel FREE with every adult.
  • If you have a concessionary bus pass, show our driver as you board to travel for £1 return.
 

  • You will receive a reusable ticket with a QR code. Keep this ticket safe. 
  • When you board,, scan your QR code ticket using the reader on the bus. This will confirm you qualify for free parking.

Note: If the ticket isn't scanned on the bus, the user will be issued with a penalty charge notice and fine of up to £50. There are no parking measures at Cheltenham Racecourse although parking restrictions are in place in the evenings.

Safe, clean buses

We already have a well-established cleaning regime for our buses and we are continuing to carry out extra cleaning of key touchpoints such as hand poles and grab rails with anti-viral products.

  

Face coverings on bus

Face coverings are compulsory on public transport and at indoor public transport hubs.  If you are exempt, please show the driver your exemption card.

Social distancing

We have protective screens on bus to create a safe barrier between you and the driver. Buses are also running at a reduced capacity to ensure you have space to socially distance.
