The training programme
Our engineering apprenticeship scheme is a four year programme, designed to produce skilled engineers of the future. You will specialise in mechelec (mechanical and electrical) or body/coach building at one of our depots in Gloucester, Cheltenham or Swindon.
The first three years involve on the job training in one of our depots, working alongside a trained mentor who is there to help and guide you. You will also attend a specialist training college to obtain your formal qualifications, with travel and accommodation provided.
The fourth year of the programme has been specially designed to consolidate technical skills through a series of development courses, including manufacturer's technical courses.
After four years, you will be a fully skilled and qualified engineer with a rewarding career ahead of you. Post apprenticeship we offer continuous technical training and the chance to step up to our Engineering Management Training Programme (many of our Engineering Directors in our business started out as apprentices).
