Stroud service changes

We're making significant changes to our bus services around Stroud on 4th August. These improvements are our response to customer feedback, changing customer travel patterns and worsening road congestion.  Please click on your service number below to download your new timetable.

52 - Stroud to Cirencester

Journeys will only run between Stroud and Cirencester, with times altered to meet anticipated demand. We are also making further changes to the Cirencester network, click here for full details.

61 - Dursley & Stonehouse to Stroud & Bussage

We're really excited to begin serving the new Great Oldbury development to the west of Stonehouse. Our service will offer new residents an hourly link to and from Dursley, Stonehouse and Stroud.

We're changing our route between Ebley and Stroud to serve Paganhill for SGS College and Tesco. Buses towards Bussage will depart from southbound stops at Merrywalks, whilst buses towards Stonehouse will leave from the nortbound side (see below for detailed stop list).

At Bussage, we're changing our route slightly, now running anti-clockwise from The Ridgeway to Brownshill, then via The Frith to Middle Hill and France Lynch before reaching Tanglewood Way back to The Ridgeway.

63 - Gloucester to Stroud & Forest Green

We've increased our frequency for this route on a Sunday from every 2 hours to every hour. There are other timetable changes to this service to improve our punctuality.

We've also altered the route for school-day journeys. The journey that previously extended to Wickwar will now start and finish in Charfield, and will also serve Kingswood School.

64 - Stroud and Gloucester

We're introducing a brand new half hourly service between Stroud and Gloucester running via Cainscross Road, Stonehouse, Quedgeley and into Gloucester via Bristol Road, Cole Avenue and Stroud Road. This will replace the 66/66S service to Gloucester.

Both routes will end in Gloucester Transport Hub. A new school time journey will also go via The Crypt School. In the evenings and on Sundays, some journeys will connect with the new 66 in Stonehouse, going back to Stroud via the Stanleys.

65 - Stroud to Cam & Dursley

We are making minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

66 & 66S - Cheltenham to Stroud, the Stanleys & Stonehouse

All 66 and 66S journeys will change to an hourly service that operates between Cheltenham, Stroud, The Stanleys & Stonehouse. They will also use the Meadow Road loop.

We're also introducing a new peak journey, 66X, that will continue beyond Stonehouse to Gloucester Transport Hub via Bristol Road and Trier Way. Some journeys in the evening and on Sundays will connect with the 64 in Stonehouse to Gloucester.

Journeys to Gloucester will now be served on the 63 and 64. Full details of this new service are above.

67 - Stroud to Cashes Green

We are making minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

Bus services will stop at the following Merrywalks stops:
