Join the Stagecoach Technical apprenticeship scheme

Finished school and not sure what to do next? More studying? University?  Or  earn while you learn?

With the Stagecoach Technical apprenticeship scheme, you would earn ¬£66,500 over 4 years  whilst  gaining professional qualifications.

Then, as a qualified multi-skilled diagnostics technician, you could be earning in excess of 30k per year.

The training programme

Our award-winning apprenticeship scheme is a four year programme.  The first three years are spent on the job, learning in the depot with an allocated mentor. You'll also attend a specialist training college in Wolverhampton  every few months,  with travel and accommodation provided.

We will help you to make sense of mechanics, electrics,  hydraulics, electronics - and how those systems work together in modern vehicles - diesel, gas and hybrid electric.

The fourth year of the programme  has been specially designed by Stagecoach UK Bus  to consolidate technical skills. You will attend a series of development courses including manufacturer's technical courses.

After four years, you will be fully skilled with a rewarding career ahead of you. Post apprenticeship we offer continuous technical  training and the chance to step up to our Engineering Management Training Programme.
