Great value bus travel continues, with single journeys capped at no more than £3*
Bus travel is still a great value way to get from A to B
We’re taking part in the National Bus Fare Cap Scheme which means that from 1st January 2025, a single bus journey in England will be capped at a maximum of £3 - yes that’s less than a cup of coffee from a high street cafe. So go grab that coffee in Matlock, it's just £2.70 to get there from Chesterfield. Or take a trip over to Meadowhall for a spot of shopping for just £2.60 from Sheffield!
Will all single journeys cost £3?
£3 is the maximum you will pay. Lots of our fares will cost less - in fact most single journeys across England will be less than £3, offering great value on everyday trips especially within towns and cities. For those longer journeys, the fare cap ensures you will never pay more than £3 for a single trip. Where could your £3 take you?
What are the ticket prices across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire?
