The new Townlines 11 fleet is part of a £1.9m investment to improve the buses for local communities in Barnsley and the Dearne Valley in 2016.

Townlines 11 Free Wifi on board

Buses leave stand 9 in Barnsley Interchange every 10 minutes during the daytime Mondays to Saturdays. On Sundays they run every 30 minutes, making sure Athersley North stays connected! 

You can travel on the whole route of Townlines 11 service with your Barnsley 7 day megarider ticket. 

You can also travel further  afield   with unlimited travel in Barnsley  within the boundaries of  New Lodge, Carlton, Old Cudworth Bridge, Ardsley, Wombwell Lane (Tesco), Worsborough Mill, Dodworth Business Park, Gilroyd and   Barugh Green Crossroads. (Not valid on N27 or N66 night buses)
