Coronavirus Update Close

National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons. 

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity. 

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Getting to the Fly DSA Arena Sheffield by tram

Fly DSA Arena Sheffield has its own tram stop, which is only a two-minute walk from the venue itself.

The Arena / Olympic Legacy Park tram stop is linked to the Fly DSA Arena by its own footpath and is only a two-minute walk away.

You won’t have to worry about being late for that gig with us.

Our trams bypass the traffic, giving you a fast, smooth and reliable way to get to your event.

And there’s no need to buy a ticket before you get on board - we have a conductor on every tram.

 

Meadowhall Interchange to Fly DSA Arena Sheffield

  • trams every 10 - 12 minutes at peak times* and 20 minutes off-peak**
  • every tram from Meadowhall goes via the Arena
  • journey time is only 7 minutes 

  

Rotherham Parkgate to Fly DSA Arena Sheffield

  • up to 3 Tram Train services every hour
  • bypasses all road traffic
  • journey time is just 13 minutes 

 

Sheffield train station to Fly DSA Arena Sheffield

  • trams every 10 - 12 minutes at peak times* and 20 minutes off-peak**
  • the tram stop is behind the station (follow the tram signs from the central footbridge)
  • get on any tram from the tram platform nearest the station, get off at the next tram stop (Fitzalan Square / Ponds Forge) and cross to the opposite platform from Fitzalan Square. Then  get on a Yellow Route tram to Meadowhall or a Tram Train to Rotherham Parkgate
  • get off the tram at the Arena / Olympic Legacy Park tram stop
  • journey time is around 20-30 minutes (depending on time of day - please use the journey planner for more accurate times)

Sheffield City Centre to Fly DSA Arena Sheffield

  • trams every 10 - 12 minutes at peak times* and 20 minutes off-peak**
  • board any Yellow tram to Meadowhall or a Tram Train to Rotherham Parkgate
  • get off the tram at the Arena / Olympic Legacy Park tram stop
  • journey time is only 11 minutes

 

Park and ride
