What is unirider?

unirider is the best value BUS & TRAM student ticket around so you can get to lectures, shops, pubs clubs, gyms, the library... wherever!
From as little as 98p a day you'll be able to use your unirider ticket on any Stagecoach bus in Sheffield and the Supertram, so where will you go? ....
unirider is available to Sheffield University and Sheffield Hallam University students with a valid U card or SHU card.
Once you have bought your unirider ticket you can use it to travel between the two dates printed on the ticket by showing it to the driver or conductor with your valid student ID card.

Where can I use it?

Great you’ve got travel sorted, no need to budget each week for travel, just hop on the bus or tram* as many times as you like.

Your Sheffield unirider is valid for travel on the entire route on services: 25, 35A, 43A, 52, 57, 79A, 79, 83A, 83, 87, 88, 120, 123, Supertram Link buses and all Supertram services.

Sheffield Unirider is also valid for travel part route on the following services: 43, 44, 44A Sheffield to Dronfield, The Hallowes (PH), 50 Sheffield to Eckington Birk Hill Estate, 50A Sheffield to Marsh Lane, 53 Sheffield to Eckington Bus Station, 69 Sheffield to Tinsley, 70/71 Killamarsh/ Norwood to Eckington, 89 Sheffield to Dronfield Carr Lane, 215 Sheffield to Ecclesfield Road South,  265 Sheffield to Chapeltown Norfolk Arms and X17 Sheffield to Norton Hotel. This ticket is not valid on N52 night bus service.

Other local options

If you’re not into budgeting, you can use Stagecoach Sheffield buses on a pay as you go basis, it’s only 80p for any single journey when you show the driver a Sheffield student identification card. Or use the Supertram, single and dayrider tickets are available, just ask your conductor for more details.
(Dayrider tickets are valid for use on any stagecoach bus and Supertram in Sheffield, the 80p single fare is only valid on Stagecoach buses Sheffield).

What if I lose my ticket?

We realise that there is a small chance of you losing your ticket, please look after it as it’s a valuable item.
If you do lose it contact Stagecoach Sheffield with a crime reference or lost property reference number from the police.
A charge of £25 will be made for a replacement, only one replacement in one academic year.

Other information

 * Available for use on all Stagecoach buses in Sheffield (as indicated below), Stagecoach Supertram and the Supertram Link buses. UNIRIDER TICKETS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES BY A VALID UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD U CARD OR A SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY SHU CARD (these cards are available through the respective universities). The card must be valid and bear a photograph of the holder. Valid at all times between the dates shown on the ticket. Unirider cannot be transferred. Unirider holders travel subject to the terms and conditions of carriage and passenger regulations of Stagecoach Yorkshire and Stagecoach Supertram. The ticket remains the property of the operator and will be withdrawn at any time if misused. Unirider is not valid on Megabus or other operators' services. Unirider is valid for travel on the entire route on services: 20, 20A, 25, 35A, 43A, 52, 58, 78, 79, 83, 87, 88, 88A, 120, 123, X57, Supertram Link buses and all Supertram services. Valid for travel part route on the following services: 43, 44, 44A Sheffield to Dronfield, The Hallowes (PH), 50 Sheffield to Eckington Birk Hill Estate, 53 Sheffield to Eckington Bus Station, 70 Killamarsh/ Norwood to Eckington, 50A Eckington to Marsh Lane, 265 Sheffield to Chapeltown Norfolk Arms and X17 Sheffield to Norton Hotel).
