Can I pay for more than one person using my device or card?

Unfortunately, you can't do this because it will confuse the system and potentially cost you more.

What you can do is pay for yourself on a contactless device (e.g. a smartphone or watch). Then, if you're feeling generous, pay for someone else with your contactless card.
