It's no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering on public transport in England, Scotland or Wales. We do encourage you to wear a face covering in crowded spaces, if you can. For the latest travelling safely information for England, Wales and Scotland, see our Coronavirus page.
Of course! Up to four children under the age of five can travel for free. Children aged 5-15 can also benefit from a discounted rate (depending on your area).
In most areas, we also offer discounts for young people and students. If you're 5-21 years old and live in Scotland, you're eligible for free bus travel with a National Entitlement Card (NEC).
