Your new ticket can take up to two days to be active though, so it's worth planning for this in advance. 

Need to add a different type of student ticket to your current card? No problem, here's how:

1. Log in to your Stagecoach account
2. Add the ticket to your basket then checkout
3. Don't forget to choose ‘Select a Smart card’ under the ‘Select/Add a Smart card’ menu and choose your existing StagecoachSmart student card

Only student tickets can be added to your StagecoachSmart student card, not standard DayRiders or MegaRiders etc."
