How does contactless payment work?

Contactless payment is quick, easy and secure. All you need to do is:

1. Tell the driver which ticket you need
2. Tap your card or device on the reader (payments up to £30 or £45) when you hop on

That's it! No need for a pin. No need for a ticket. Just pay and find your seat. 

Just check that your card has the contactless symbol before travelling. You can also pay via Apple Pay or Google Pay. 

Don't like paying by card? You can always pay with cash if you'd prefer.
