Important update Close

It's no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering on public transport in England, Scotland or Wales. We do encourage you to wear a face covering in crowded spaces, if you can. For the latest travelling safely information for England, Wales and Scotland, see our Coronavirus page

What is the limit for contactless payment?

You can buy any tickets up to the value of £30 or £45 using contactless payment (dependant on the area).

Whether you're after a single, return, dayrider or megarider, you can get your ticket on paper or your StagecoachSmart card.

What's more, you can use your contactless card to Pay As You Go, which is available in some areas.
