Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

Stagecoach connects Gainsborough and Lincoln to the Lincolnshire Show with special services

Stagecoach East Midlands are supporting the Lincolnshire show, on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 June by providing special extended bus services from Gainsborough and Lincoln, offering visitors direct travel to and from the popular annual event.

 

The 554 service will provide a shuttle bus between Gainsborough Bus Station and Lincolnshire Showground calling at Lea Green, Knaith Park Stags Head, Kexby Corner, Willingham Church, Stow Church and Sturton by Stow. The bus will leave Gainsborough bus station at 8:05am, and the return service from the showground will leave at 5:45pm.

 

Service 555 will run as a shuttle bus between Lincoln Central Train Station and the Lincolnshire Showground. The first bus will leave the city centre at 8:30am, with buses running approximately every 15 minutes in both directions throughout the day. The last bus from the showground will depart at 6:30pm.

 

Buses from Lincoln City Centre will travel via Burton Road Passengers can board the bus at any stop by clearly signaling the driver.

 

People from across the region can use the InterConnect 1, InterConnect 56 InterConnect 53 and InterConnect 100 to travel to Lincoln Bus Station to then get the shuttle bus to the show.

Our 555 bus will be running throughout the day to accommodate the show’s many visitors, and our two shuttle buses will provide a direct and convenient link from Lincoln and Gainsborough to the show. Taking advantage of our services will enable visitors to leave their car at home and enjoy a stress-free journey, while also helping to ease traffic congestion and ensure that attendees can make the most of their day.”

 

Return tickets for both shuttle services will cost £5 for adults, £2.50 for children and a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) can travel with a Family Ticket for just £12.

If you’re travelling on other buses into Lincoln, our Day Out tickets will be valid on buses from your home and the Showground too!  These cost just £9.30 for adults, £4.65 for children and a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) can travel with a Family Day Out ticket for just £19

 

Under the revised terms of the Lincolnshire Concessionary Fare Scheme, senior citizen and disabled people’s bus passes are not valid on this one-off service.
