Stagecoach announces services for Hull Fair

05 Oct 2021

Stagecoach East Midlands have announced their services for the Hull Fair.

With high numbers of visitors expected, Stagecoach will be running special services from Friday 8 October to Saturday 16 October, except on Sunday 10 October when the fair will be closed.

The buses will run every evening from all around the city, dropping off on Anlaby Road near the fair.

People travelling from further afield can use Park and Ride buses from the Priory Park and Ride site off A63 Clive Sullivan Way.

Matt Cranwell, Managing Director for Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “The Hull Fair is always an immensely popular city event, and with it being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we expect a high volume of people will want to get back to some of the things they love, and so will visit the fair this year. We will therefore be laying on special services to meet with the demand.

“We would urge visitors to take advantage of the extra services to help decrease congestion in the city and for a stress-free way to travel into the city, allowing them to savour the delights that the Hull Fair has to offer. We also encourage customers to continue to wear face coverings on board if they can to help alleviate any concerns from fellow passengers.”
