Time for a Stagecation? Bus company suggests things to see and do in Hull this Summer
· Kier Starmer says that people may need to holiday in the UK this Summer
· Ideas for easy to reach destinations
· Budget friendly options for the whole family
Hull bus operator, Stagecoach East Midlands, has suggested local places to enjoy a great ‘Stagecation’ after outgoing Prime Minister Kier Starmer’s comments that more people may need to holiday in the UK this year.
With the ongoing trouble in Iran disrupting travel across the Middle East and pushing up prices for flights and package deals to European hotspots, Mr Starmer has said that "people might change where they go on holiday this year".
Now Stagecoach has given a range of suggestions for a wonderful and easy to reach day out:
-- The Deep - One of the UK's most spectacular aquariums, home to sharks, rays and thousands of marine creatures; Services 3, 4, 12, 14 or 16
-- Hull Old Town - Explore cobbled streets, historic pubs and the city's rich maritime heritage on a guided walk; any service to Hull Interchange
-- St Stephen's Shopping Centre - Hull's premier shopping destination offers major high-street brands and restaurants; any service to Hull Interchange
