- Easter Egg Hunt on buses across Scotland with prizes on offer
- Arbroath depot collected almost 500 Easter Eggs for local donations
- Free travel in Dunfermline over Easter Weekend
From Monday 25th March to Sunday 14th April, Stagecoach is offering customers the chance of winning free bus travel and some Easter goodies with “The Great Scottish Easter Egg Hunt”. Stagecoach buses and coaches across Scotland will have Easter Egg stickers hidden on select services, where passengers can scan a QR code to be entered into an Easter prize draw. There are three sets of prizes up for grabs, including a 28-day MegaRider ticket and Easter treats.
The Easter fun continues at Stagecoach’s Arbroath depot where staff have been making Easter egg and monetary donations over the past few weeks, resulting in around 500 eggs being collected. So far, 350 Easter eggs have been donated to local schools and 100 eggs to local care homes. The remaining money collected will be donated to the RNLI Arbroath Lifeboat charity.
Those travelling across Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Angus over Easter can browse Stagecoach East Scotland’s travel guide at https://www.stagecoachbus.com/news/east-scotland/2024/march/what-to-do-over-the-easter-holidays-by-bus. The guide includes further information on the Easter Egg Hunt but also on activities and events taking place in April across East Scotland.
Free travel will be available on Stagecoach buses in Dunfermline on Saturday 30th March and Sunday 31st March, in partnership with the City of Dunfermline Committee. Customers travelling within Stagecoach’s Dunfermline travel zone on these dates simply need to board a Stagecoach bus and can then travel for free.
Douglas Robertson, Managing Director for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “It’s great to see the whole Stagecoach team getting involved this Easter. We’re looking forward to offering some Easter fun to our customers this April, with the chance to win some goodies by spotting a hidden egg on the bus. This is a great opportunity to showcase the commitment we have to customer service all year round.”
