The latest offer unveiled on the new Mi Rewards loyalty platform in Perth is a £1 Stagecoach East Scotland DayRider ticket.
Offering unlimited travel on all Stagecoach services in Perth & Kinross, Dundee, Angus and Fife, the £1 Stagecoach East Scotland DayRider ticket is valid for unlimited travel until 4am the next day and can also be used on journeys to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Aberdeen.
Mi Rewards relaunched in Perth in March with a focus on exclusive local offers from businesses in the city. Users earn points for shopping local to spend on the exclusive offers of their choice. The £1 Stagecoach East Scotland DayRider ticket is available for 50 points on the platform.
Other exclusive offers from businesses available on the platform include a wild water swim with Willowgate Activity Centre for 30 points, a professional deluxe emulsion treatment at Charlie Taylor Hair for 30 points, 20% off a bungee jump with Highland Fling Bungee for 160 points and a £100 Perth Gift Card for £50 for 500 points.
Sarah Elliott, Commercial Director for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “Stagecoach are a proud part of the local community and take pride in working with local businesses big and small. That's why we jumped at the chance to give back to the people of Perth, who rely on Stagecoach bus services to get to school, work and important appointments and activities, by working with Mi Rewards. We've previously supported Mi Rewards, so it just made sense to continue our support to Perth shoppers by offering a bus travel reward through the updated platform.
“Stagecoach is part of the fabric of daily life in the UK. We connect people with jobs, bring customers to high streets, help young people access education and build new skills, and draw families, friends and communities together. Perth is also home to one of Scotland's first fully-electric bus networks and we're aiming for a zero emission UK bus fleet across the UK by 2035. Using the Stagecoach Mi Rewards offer is a chance for the people of Perth to try out our electric buses around the city and see if a more sustainable travel option suits them.”
With the updated Mi Rewards programme, users earn points automatically by paying with their regular payment cards, with £1 earning them 1 point. A gamification element also gives users the chance to earn badges as they shop, from Local Novice all the way to Local Hero.
Colin Munro is the Managing Director of Miconex and said: “The updated Mi Rewards platform delivers exclusive local offers from all types of businesses as a way to encourage local and loyal shopping in Perth. Transport, particularly sustainable transport, is key to making local shopping accessible and we’re thrilled to include this fantastic offer from Stagecoach on Mi Rewards.
“Businesses can add an offer to Mi Rewards free, and being part of the platform is particularly beneficial for businesses to encourage new customers or to showcase new products or services.”
