Deep Sea World – The Tunnel of Love
This Valentines Day, Deep Sea World are offering a romantic adults-only (age 18+) evening filled with love and wonder. Starting with a selection of delicious canapes and refreshments, before getting the chance to walk freely around the aquarium and attend exclusive Valentine’s Day talks and feeds.
And best of all, it’s accessible by bus! Our 89 and 88, 7D services all stop nearby ensuring that your evening will be hassle-free and making sure there won’t be any petty arguments about who is doing the driving for your perfect night ahead.

The Hermitage
If you and your other half love the outdoors, then we’ve got the place for you this Valentines Day. The Hermitage on the River Braan is perfect just for this, with Giant Douglas Firs, the Black Linn Waterfall and the Ossian’s Hall.
The 1.5-mile woodland trail is filled with things to keep your eyes peeled for such as wildlife that might include Red Squirrels, Salmon and even Beavers. There’s also a totem pole carved by native Canadians hidden somewhere along the route. And if you’re feeling up to it, you can even have a swim in some areas along the river!
There are campsites available nearby too so you can experience a perfect evening under the stars with your favourite person, and all just a short walk after travelling on our 23 and 27 services.
Everyman Cinema
If you fancy something a little bit less active this year, then why not hop on board a bus to Glasgow and take a trip to an extraordinary cinema? The Everyman! Where the seats are not your normal cinema seats, they’re sofas! You can cuddle up to your loved one and even order food and drink straight to the seat as you watch the film! And since you’ve taken the bus, you can even treat yourself to one of the many cocktails that they have to offer.
This year Everyman are holding a special Valentine’s Day event where they will be screening the iconic 2000s romcom, 10 Things I Hate About You. And you can do all this by using our X27 and X24 Express services from Fife.

A Day Trip to St Andrews
OK, we’re really doing you a favour with this one… If you’re looking for a day of activities this Valentine’s Day? Why not head to St Andrews!
You can start the day off by heading to the iCentre where you will be able to see everything that St Andrews has to offer with help from a friendly and knowledgeable team of visitor services advisors.
There you’ll be able to browse and take free leaflets/vouchers that cover the town of St Andrews, and also Fife and further around Scotland. Some of the things that you can discover here can be seen below:
St Andrews Walking Tours - In St Andrews, there are lots of walking tours available, ranging from ghost tours, golf outings, to foodie delights – perfect for Valentines as all know the people who give you their food give you, their heart! They include a visit to five locations where you’ll taste locally sourced food and drink, and your guide will delve deeper into the history of the area and the food you’re enjoying.
Kingsbarns Distillery - This Distillery is located to the South East of St Andrews and is the perfect place for you and you partner if you are lovers of Gin or Whisky. They have various tours and classes available throughout the day, giving you time to do loads more with the one you love and best of all, you can sample and taste to your hearts content as you’ll have taken the bus there.
St Andrews Aquarium - The St Andrews Aquarium is home to more than 120 species of animals for you and your other half and there are even opportunities to take part in feeding experiences throughout the day!
St Andrews Botanic - Did you know that in Denmark the flower of love is not the rose as it is here, and people often send pressed Snowdrops to the ones they love instead? So why not head to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews to see if you can spot some with your special person?
The gardens are a living research and conservation experiment where they explore the ways ecology and evolution unfold in the plant kingdom and best of all it is right at the heart of historic St Andrews just a short walk away from the bus station.
Isle Of May Boat Trips
Fancy a wee trip out to Puffin Island as a different activity to the norm this Valentines Day? Well head down to Anstruther, where you can try out some of the famous Fish & Chip shops before you hop on board an Isle of May Boat trip.
The island is home to some of the most beautiful of birds including 45,000 pairs of breeding puffins and is the perfect place to get some snaps to make sure it’s a Valentine’s Day that you’ll never forget.
