This paint-your-own-pottery studio offers a wide variety of items, from kitchenware and plaques to piggy banks and figurines. Or why not turn your little one’s hand and/or footprints into bespoke artwork on any item of your choosing, with the help of the expert staff?

Got a Dobbies near you? Why not head there with your mum this Mother’s Day and treat her to an afternoon tea?

This Mother's Day Weekend they’re offering 3 tiers of delicious treats, both sweet and savoury and it can even include a glass of fizz and UNLIMTED tea.

Mother’s Day Bonanza at Brewhemia

Just a short walk from Princes Street, why not take your mum to Brewhemia in Edinburgh this Mother’s Day for an action-packed day?

With events throughout the day, we are sure there is something that will tickle your Mum’s fancy.

ABBA Drag Brunch – Does your Mother Know about Brewhemia? Well, she’ll be screaming I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, after this!

You can start the day off right being a Dancing Queen at this Boozy Brunch filled with pastries, cocktails, and a main brunch dish all while the drag Super Troupers put on a show.

Afternoon Tea - You can continue the fun at Brewhemia with an afternoon tea set in the Prosecco Bar and Caffe. It’s a twist on the classic with some Scottish treats thrown in, and don’t forget a little bit of fizz thrown in to make it extra special for your mum.

Mamma Mia Sing-along Dinner – And When All Is Said and Done, you can finish off the day with this Sing-along! They’ll be screening Mamma Mia in the Beer Palace, making your mum feel like The Winner really does Take It All.

A day trip to South Queensferry

House of Boë - Mother's Day Gin High Tea - Celebrate with House of Boe this Mother's Day! They are offering a Gin High Tea in three different sittings at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a glass of fizz that you can then customize with one of the available gin liqueurs, before feasting on a selection of locally produced cakes, pastries and savouries all whilst you get to try the gins as you learn about them.

Even better your mum will be treated to a beautiful bouquet of dried flowers to take away with her and everyone that attends the event can save 10% off of all products available in the shop on the day.

Forth Boat Tours – Why not then treat your mum to the ‘Best Day Out In Scotland’, with a Forth Boat Tour!

Fancy taking your mum out for a good old Scottish scran this Mother’s Day?  We recommend a 1, 2 or 3 course meal with special offers at the Inn in Charlestown, in Fife.

With a large variety on offer, there’s sure to be something that will blow your mum away and best of all there is a selection of buses that stop right outside for you to get there and back, plan your journey here!

 

Elie

Why not head down to the beautiful seaside town of Elie in Fife, where you could start the day of by heading down to The Harbour Cafe or having a go at some Water sports with Elie Watersports, or even just having a walk along the beach and looking out from the viewpoint.

Take a stroll along to Ruby Bay, where the Elie Ness Lighthouse and Lady’s Tower are situated and you can see a bit of the Fife Coastal Path too!

You can then treat you mum to a fabulous three-course meal at The Ship Inn who are offering a free glass of prosecco for mum if you pre-book a table, but shhh you don’t need to tell her that it was free…

Best of all you can get to this hidden town by bus via our 95 or X60 services.

 

Travel On Mother’s Day

Free travel around Dunfermline, in partnership with Fife Council, isn’t limited to those celebrating Mother’s Day. You can head out for free on Sunday 10th March, whether it’s taking your mum out for the day, getting a last-minute gift for her or even just doing your weekly shop. As long as your journey starts and ends within our Dunfermline Zone you will get your travel completely free!
