Stagecoach East Scotland has announced that they are partnering with Santa Claus himself to bring festive cheer to local communities across Fife, Perth and Kinross and Dundee.
Santa, along with a team of merry elves, has already visited Perth, with stops planned in Leven, St Andrews, Dundee and Dunfermline, to greet families who will be able to hop on board the bus to meet Santa in his specially designed grotto bus and receive a special gift.
Tickets for Santa’s Grotto Bus have been available free of charge online, and over 100 children have already secured their place. Although tickets are currently sold out, Stagecoach has urged families to keep an eye on their Facebook page for any ticket announcements.
Douglas Robertson, Stagecoach East Scotland Managing Director said: “We’re excited to be running our Santa’s Grotto Bus for the first time this year. These events bring joy to many families across East Scotland over the festive season, and we can’t wait to welcome attendees on board our specially decorated bus.”
Stagecoach has also announced this year’s festive timetables with regular bus services running across Fife, Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Angus to get you where you need to be over the festive period.
Some services will finish early on Christmas Eve/Hogmanay, with no services running on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. There will also be service alterations between the 26th December and 2nd January. Full timetable information over the festive period can be found at stagecoachbus.com.
