Stagecoach’s Excellence Awards, now in their second year, recognise the dedication, hard work and innovation of employees across multiple regions. The award categories include Lifetime Achievement, Employee of the Year, Inspirational Leadership and many more. Winners are chosen based on their performance, impact and contributions to the company’s mission of achieving excellence in the transport sector.
In addition to Scott, Stagecoach East Scotland Marketing Manager, Laura Kerr, was also nominated in the “We Support Communities” category for her passion and commitment to customers across East Scotland and the campaigns she has delivered locally to encourage travel and promote local events and initiatives, including Stagecoach's Grotto Bus which toured around East Scotland in December 2024, delivering gifts to local children.
Douglas Robertson, Managing Director for Stagecoach East Scotland said: "It was wonderful to celebrate the many excellent people at Stagecoach once again at our second Excellence Awards and even more special to be with two colleagues I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside for a long time in Scott and Laura.
“With over 600 nominations across our 23,000 staff, the judging panel found picking winners extremely difficult, so we’re over the moon for Scott to have taken the “Employee of the Year” award. This is a massive achievement for Scott, and he is truly deserving of this fantastic award.”
