Stagecoach East Scotland have donated £1,290 to men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club after Stagecoach employees got the choice of which charity to donate to following an internal staff survey, as a thank you for taking part. The company donated £2 to the charity of choice for every survey that was completed.

Andy’s Man Club is a charity who aim to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgement-free, confidential space where men can be open about the struggles in their lives. They offer weekly, free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups for men over 18 every Monday across the UK.

Kenny Armour, Andy’s Man Club Area Lead for Fife said: “It’s great to hear that Stagecoach have selected Andy’s Man Club to donate £1,290 to. We really appreciate donations like this, which help to keep our doors open every Monday night at 7pm and provide a safe and comfortable environment for men to attend our groups.”

Douglas Robertson, Stagecoach East Scotland Managing Director said: “Our annual staff survey is extremely important and allows our teams to give their views on how we’re doing as a company and how we can improve for the future.  It’s great to also give back to our staff’s choice charity, Andy Man’s Club, by providing this donation to support the great work they do in our community.”
