Stagecoach continues its support for Outwith Festival 2026 in Dunfermline
Festivalgoers encouraged to travel by bus for a convenient and affordable journey
Bus travel helps ease congestion and supports a more sustainable city centre festival

Stagecoach is once again supporting Outwith Festival as the award-winning celebration of arts and culture returns to Dunfermline this September.

Running from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 September, Outwith Festival 2026 will transform venues across Scotland's newest city with an exciting programme of music, theatre, film, literature and visual arts, bringing together local communities and visitors from across the region.

With events taking place at venues including Abbot House, the Alhambra Theatre and the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum, Stagecoach is encouraging festivalgoers to leave the car at home and make the bus part of their festival experience.

Stagecoach's extensive network of local services across Dunfermline, together with express routes linking communities across Fife, provides an easy, convenient and affordable way to reach the city centre throughout the five-day festival.

Choosing the bus also helps reduce traffic congestion and parking demand, supporting a more sustainable event while allowing visitors to spend more time enjoying everything Outwith has to offer.

Fraser Smith, Commercial Director for Stagecoach South Scotland, said:

"We're delighted to continue our support for Outwith Festival and help celebrate the fantastic arts and culture on offer in Dunfermline.

"The festival showcases the very best of Scotland's newest city and attracts people from across Fife and beyond. Our bus network makes it easy for people to travel to the city centre, relax and enjoy the events without worrying about driving or parking.

"Supporting community events like Outwith is an important part of our commitment to the communities we serve, and we look forward to welcoming festivalgoers on board this September."
