Meet Santa on our Christmas grotto bus in Wirral
You can meet Santa at various locations across The Wirral area as our grotto bus goes on tour from Monday 7th December 2020
Drivers from Birkenhead depot, Peter Mawdsley & Paige Farrell have created a Christmas grotto bus where you can meet Santa- Both coming up with the idea to give something back to the community.
The experience will be completely free and Covid secure, with the bus stopping at different locations in Wirral across nine days in the run-up to Christmas.
Children can meet Santa socially distanced, free of charge with each child getting a selection box or reindeer dust. – All that is asked for is a voluntary donation to go Alder Hey - collection buckets will be in place on the tour days or you can donate here.
Peter & Paiges’ colleagues have also donated their time by dressing up as Santa and elves who will be welcoming visitors to the grotto bus.
Peter, said: "When we've reached our limit they will turn people away so a big crowd doesn't form. We will allow people on to the bus in their social bubble and hand sanitiser will be provided. The bus will be cleaned between each group coming on the bus and people are asked to wear masks."
The bus will be touring Wirral across nine days over the next couple of weeks. It will be stopping between 6pm and 8pm at the following locations:
- Monday, December 7 - Rock Ferry Stagecoach Depot
- Tuesday, December 8 - Home Farm Road, (Woodchurch estate bus stop by St Michael and All Angels Catholic Church)
