Stagecoach Wirral Grotto Bus Returns This Festive season.

• Stagecoach staff once again turn bus into Christmas Grotto to spread festive cheer throughout the Community.

The Wirral Grotto Bus will once again be hitting the roads throughout Wirral after seeing previous success over the last several years.

Organiser of the Stagecoach Santa Grotto Bus, Paige Roberts, started the event two years ago when Covid-19 closed all the grottos. The Grotto bus will be calling in at multiple locations throughout the Wirral in December, with staff dressed up in costumes and Christmas music to get visitors into the festive spirit.

The grotto bus is free, however, donations are being collected to raise money for Tiny Stars Neonatal Appeal as part of the Wirral University Teaching Hospital charity.

Paige said: “We call ourselves a free grotto but we do let people know we are taking donations for our chosen charity. The bus will have a charity donation bucket on the front, but it is optional.

“We want to get give more to our community so this year we have pulled together, and we now have a grand prize Stagecoach competition.”
