23 Nov 2023

Stagecoach Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire (MSCL) proudly announces its involvement in Road Safety Week 2023, showcasing a steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and road users across the region.

Road Safety Week, organised by the road safety charity Brake, is a crucial annual campaign to raise awareness and promote life-saving messages concerning road safety. This year’s theme, Speed Awareness, resonates deeply with our core values and ongoing efforts to prioritise road safety.

As a leading transport provider in the region, we recognise the significance of promoting safe practices among passengers, drivers, and the community. Throughout Road Safety Week, we will actively engage with our drivers to foster a culture of safety on our roads and create messaging around speed awareness.  We will continue this beyond Road Safety Week with engagement plans around passenger safety.  This is all on top of our continuous safety communications and initiatives throughout the year.

Matt Davies, Managing Director of Stagecoach MSCL, expressed his enthusiasm about the company's participation: "At Stagecoach, safety is our top priority. We are proud to stand alongside Brake in supporting Road Safety Week 2023. Our commitment extends beyond providing reliable transportation; it encompasses fostering awareness, education, and proactive measures to ensure the safety of everyone on our roads."

Stagecoach MSCL will further implement specific measures to enhance safety standards and protocols, reinforcing the company's dedication to providing a secure and dependable transportation network.

The company encourages everyone to participate actively in Road Safety Week 2023 by joining the conversation, spreading awareness, and adopting safe practices.
