Stagecoach Merseyside, Cheshire & South Lancashire celebrated remarkable achievements at the prestigious IRTE Young Road Transport Engineer of the Year awards taking place on Thursday 29th February. Amongst fierce competition, Stagecoach emerged triumphant with three finalists showcasing exemplary talent and dedication to the industry.
The event, held at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Calyton-le-Moors, brought together industry leaders, experts, and rising stars to honour excellence in the field of road transport engineering. Stagecoach's strong presence was evident with three finalists making their mark on the highly competitive stage.
Bradley Mort, a second-year apprentice at Stagecoach, demonstrated exceptional technical prowess and an unwavering commitment to his craft, earning him the highly commended award in the Apprentice section. Mort's remarkable achievements highlight the company's commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
Darren Hussain, another standout talent within Stagecoach, was recognized for his promising potential and impressive technical skills, securing the highly commended award in the PCV Transport Engineer section. Hussain's dedication to his work exemplifies Stagecoach's dedication to fostering talent and innovation within the industry.
The crowning moment of the evening came with the announcement of the WINNER in the PCV Transport Engineer of the Year section. Marco Jackson, a beacon of excellence within Stagecoach, clinched the coveted trophy with his unparalleled work ethic and technical proficiency. Jackson's achievement not only reflects his individual dedication but also underscores Stagecoach's commitment to setting the standard for excellence in road transport engineering.
