Stagecoach Merseyside has been recognised for good quality and effective practice in fair employment.

The company has achieved Aspiring Level status on the Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter; a scheme established by the Mayor of the Liverpool City Region to recognise commitment to fair pay, secure work and employee wellbeing.

Membership in the charter is granted to organisations that meet criteria based on four principles:

  • Safe workplaces supporting a healthy workforce
  • Fair pay and fair hours
  • Inclusive workplaces that support staff to grow and develop
  • A voice for staff to help deliver justice in the workplace with opportunities available for young people

Simon Tramalloni, Interim Operations Director at Stagecoach Merseyside, said:

Fair Employment Charter Status“We are proud to serve our Merseyside communities and delighted to have our commitment to delivering high standards of employment recognised by the city region.

We work hard to build an inclusive and supportive culture and believe this is fantastic for our employees as it demonstrates our dedication to continually improving our employee offering including pay and conditions, employee voice, health and wellbeing.

“We relish the opportunity to work and engage with the charter further to continually evolve our employee proposition for the future.”
