A new partnership between Stagecoach and Ross County Football Club will allow football fans to attend home games using a special discounted bus ticket.
From Monday 10th February, Ross County season ticket holders will be able to claim 25% off their travel on their next visit to the stadium when they go by bus from surrounding areas in the Highlands. Fans simply have to show their bus driver their season ticket to claim the discount when travelling from Inverness and several towns and villages across Ross-shire.
The partnership has been launched in line with new bus timetables in the Highlands, where Saturday journeys have been adjusted to make travelling by bus easier for fans attending matches at the Dingwall stadium.
David Beaton, managing director at Stagecoach Highlands said: “We are really proud to be working with Ross County Football Club to offer season ticket holders a discount when they travel with us to the stadium. Following the feedback we’ve received, we’ve adjusted the timetable to make it easier for fans to get back to Inverness after the match and we’ll look forward to welcoming fans on board to get to the next match. ”
Scott Boyd, sporting director at Ross County FC said: "I believe this partnership with Stagecoach Highland will help to improve our links with the wider community and supporters who travel from different areas in the Highlands and beyond to support Ross County Football Club. Our aim is to be more than a football club and having this service will make getting to the Global Energy Stadium more affordable and accessible than ever before. I hope this is the start of a long term relationship with Stagecoach Highland where we can continue to improve the current offer so I hope as many of our fans as possible take advantage of this new partnership"
The discount will be available to RCFC fans until the end of the 19/20 season.
