Remember, remember the fifth of November, we’ve got the lowdown of the best spots to watch the fireworks in the South East this weekend…

Don’t fret about petrol and parking, hop on with Stagecoach and treat yourself to a mulled cider as you ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at the fireworks in the sky!

Thanet

Proudly naming itself The Greatest Show, hop off the #8 at The Square in Birchington to check out Quex Park’s Fireworks Grand Finale show. With Queen and Bon Jovi tribute acts, a bonfire and two firework displays, there is something for everyone at Quex Park’s technicolour show!

Canterbury

Held at the city’s iconic cricket ground, Spitfire sees the return of Canterbury’s Fireworks Evening! One of the biggest displays found in the city, the sparkling spitfire show returns with a fun fair and entertainment all evening! If you’re coming from Dover and Folkestone, hop off the bus right by the grounds on the #15, #16, or #17! Heading in from Herne Bay or Thanet? Hop off at Canterbury Bus Station where you can pick up one of these routes to take you straight to the cricket grounds.

Eastbourne

Held at the Sunshine Coast’s sports club, Eastbourne brings you a stunning firework display with a fairground and food & drink stalls to boot! A short walk from Cornfield Road, where you can hop on the #99 from Hastings and Bexhill. Travelling in from somewhere else in Eastbourne? Hop on the #1/1A with our short hopper fare for just £1.30!

Friday 4^th November from 6pm at The Saffrons Sports Club in Compton Place Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1EA.

Folkestone

From the Harbour Arm to its new found trendiness in the Creative Quarter, Folkestone is the place to be this Fireworks Night! Explore all there is to offer before making your way to the town’s rugby club for a spectacular evening! Pick up the #17 from Folkestone Bus Station and hop off at Beachborough Crossroads to see the show!
