Stagecoach South East are pleased to announce that we have joined Kent Cricket’s Team Kent Business Club for the 2024/25 season.
The annual partnership aims to engage more people with county cricket and make sport more accessible for long-time fans, all through bus travel.
Andy Griffiths, Director of Partnerships at Kent Cricket, said: “We’re extremely pleased to welcome Stagecoach South East on board as Team Kent Business Club members.
“We know that a lot of our members and supporters use Stagecoach services to attend matches, with bus stops directly adjacent to The Spitfire Ground, so we’re extremely pleased to work closer with one of our local transport operators going forward.”
Stagecoach South East will work together with KCCC to further support our local community through cricket and continue to build, connect, and serve our customers.
Hannah Bland, Marketing Manager at Stagecoach South East, said: “We’re really excited to become Team Kent Business Club members for 2024. Kent Cricket is a huge attraction for a lot of people in our county, as well our employees, and we’re looking forward to working closely with Kent Cricket and our local community even more this summer and in the near future.”
The Spitfire Ground, based in Canterbury, Kent, is serviced by regular Stagecoach bus routes from Canterbury Bus Station, as well as being accessible via the New Dover Road Park & Ride.
Established in 1870, Kent County Cricket Club (KCCC) has a long-standing history of delivering exceptional sporting entertainment within the county. They have an impressive track record of victories and several of their members have even gone on to play for the England teams.
