From Sunday 20 September 2026, ticket prices in Kent & East Sussex will change.

We understand that any price increase is difficult, and we've worked hard to keep these as low as possible. Fare revenue is vital for covering the daily costs of running our services, from rising fuel and maintenance expenses to investing in our people, technology and customer service.

The maximum increase to a single fare will be just 20p. Under the Government's fare cap scheme, you'll still never pay more than £3 for a single journey.*

For children and under 19s the South East DayRider, South East Flexi5 and South East Flexi10 will not increase in price.

Our Group DayRider still provides great value for families and groups of up to five people travelling together. This ticket is based on the price of two Adult DayRiders so three passengers essentially travel for free!

Flexi tickets remain the best value for those travelling regularly, where you can purchase 5 tickets for the price of 4 or 10 tickets for the price of 7 to use at any time within 12 months of purchase.

Concessionary passes are available for those of state pension age and are valid on all services from 9.30am to 11pm Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. If you live in Kent, you can apply for a concessionary pass for free here. If you live in East Sussex, you can apply for your concessionary pass for free here.

Kid for a Quid is still available as an add-on ticket if you have an adult bus ticket or concessionary pass. It allows you to travel with up to four children (aged 5-15) for one single journey for £1 for each child.

*Some council operated bus services are excluded from the Government £3 single fare cap. This includes our Park & Ride services. The Government £3 fare cap scheme is expected to last until 31st December 2026.

Evening	£4.90	This ticket allows unlimited travel on the Stagecoach South East network after 6pm.
