Changes to bus services in Hastings & Bexhill from Sunday 6 September 2026

This route will now depart Rye Rail Station at 7:23am and serve Hastings Rail Station. The bus will then become the 98 serving Bexhill College, Bexhill and Sidley. 

The afternoon journey on the 70 from Bexhill College to Rye will not change.

Bexhill - Bexhill Hospital - Sidley - Coombe Valley Way - Hollington Tesco - Silverhill - Conquest Hospital 

94A buses will not serve Silverhill

There will be some changes to the Monday to Friday 94A service only.

Some services will be rerouted and the 3:15pm journey from Hollington Tesco to Conquest Hospital will no longer run.

The 300A will run as an anti-clockwise loop.

The 300C will run as a clockwise loop.

The new service will replace service 324 between Hastings Rail Station and Malvern Way as well as service 329A between Conquest Hospital and Hastings Station.

The new service will run hourly, Monday to Sunday providing a new direct link to the Conquest Hospital from Downs Road, Hoads Wood Road, Linley Drive and Malvern Way.

This service will provide earlier and later journey times than the current 324.

The 300A / 300 C will provide new journeys for those travelling from St Helens Road, Park View, Parkstone Road, Hillside Road and Conquest Hospital. 

322: Ore - Hastings town centre - St Leonards - Silverhill - Stonehouse Drive - Hollington Tesco

322B: Ore - Hastings town centre - St Leonards - Silverhill - Ironlatch Avenue - Harley Shute

322E: Ore - Hastings town centre - St Leonards - Silverhill - Stonehouse Drive - Hollington Tesco - Harley Shute

This service will see both route and timetable changes.

The new daytime service on Sundays has been changed from 322C to 322B and has very minor timetable changes.

An additional 322E journey will operate on Saturday mornings starting at Ivy Gardens at 6:47am, providing an earlier journey into Hastings town centre.

The 5:45am 322A journey from Tesco via Mayfield Farm will no longer run and will be partially replaced by the 319. The first journey from Hastings town centre to Ivy Gardens will be around an hour later than it was before the changes. 

The 322B will run a slightly earlier service than the current 324.

The 324 service will no longer run and journeys will be replaced by the below:

• 300A / 300C will serve Malvern Way, Downs Road and Hastings town centre. This route will also serve Conquest Hospital hourly.
• 98 will serve Hastings Station, Bohemia Road and Silverhill Monday to Saturday daytime on an improved 30 minute frequency. On Sundays there will be services two times an hour on either the 100, 101, 349 or 1066. On Sundays before 10:00am and 5:30pm there will be some additional journeys on the 98 and 100.
• 322B will serve Ironlatch Avenue and Harley Shute.

This service will see both route and timetable changes.

Except for selected early morning journeys, service 328 will no longer serve Malvern Way and Pennine Rise. The new 300A / 300C route will serve Malvern Way area to the hospital. 

One morning and one afternoon journey will continue to serve ARK Helenswood Academy on schooldays. The afternoon journey will depart at 3:35pm and will not serve Malvern Way. The 73 will serve Malvern Way.

This service will no longer run and will be replaced by the new 300A / 300C services.

Sainsbury's in Sedlescombe Road North will not be served by the 300A / 300C due to low levels of usage. 

The last bus from Hastings Rail Station to Conquest Hospital will run 15 minutes later than the current 329A journey throughout the week. There will be a new earlier journey from the Conquest Hospital to the town on Saturdays arriving at Hastings Rail Station at 7:38am.
