In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Stagecoach in South Wales is helping to support Armed Forces Day 2019. On 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th June, the company will be offering free travel to armed forces personnel carrying a military ID card and to veterans carrying a veteran's badge, medals/pins.
Armed Forces Day is a chance for the public to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.
With events planned in Crosskeys, Treorchy, Pontypridd and many more http://stge.co/Nebi30kIQkL it is hoped that personnel will take up the offer to travel across South Wales to the event of their choice.
Stagecoach will be attending the largest event in South Wales at Crosskeys on Saturday 22nd June. A Service 151 gold bus which operates from Blackwood to Newport will be on display, the vehicle is fitted with an environmentally-friendly Euro VI engine with low carbon emissions, start/stop technology and the most up to date CCTV equipment.
Nigel Winter, Managing Director of South Wales said; “We are sending a clear and proud message to armed forces communities across the country that we appreciate them and are grateful for everything they do. We hope that personnel choosing to travel to a local event will have an enjoyable day and we are delighted to show our appreciation for their commitment to our country.”
In 2015, Stagecoach Group signed the Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in support of the Armed Forces Community. As a signatory of the Covenant, the company recognises the value serving personnel; regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to both the country and businesses across the country.
The company was also awarded the silver award through the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The scheme encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
