Stagecoach South Wales offers free travel to military personnel on the 80th D-Day anniversary

As part of Stagecoach’s ongoing commitment to support the Armed Forces, we will be offering free bus travel on services across South Wales on the 6^th of June.

The free travel will be available to serving personnel in uniform, personnel with military ID, and veterans either carrying a veteran’s badge or carrying a medal and it will also be available for cadets.

Stagecoach will also be offering free travel on the 29^th and 20^th of June for Armed Forces Day, it is known as a chance for the public to show their support for the men and women who are in the Armed Forces community whether that is currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.

The commitment to free travel for the Armed Forces is supported by Stagecoach’s employee led Veterans Network.

Martin Gibbon, Managing Director for Stagecoach South Wales said: “We are pleased to be offering free travel to veterans carrying medals or a badge, military ID, and cadets for the 80th D-Day commemoration in South Wales. Many of our employees are ex-military personnel and this is a way of showing our appreciation for the Armed Forces community."
