Stagecoach South Wales Secures Four Nominations in the Prestigious National Transport Awards

Stagecoach South Wales, one of the largest operators in South East Wales and part of the UK’s largest bus and coach operator, has secured four nominations at the National Transport Awards 2025.

  • Best Bus Service for the X24.
  • Best Practice in Diversity, Inclusivity and Accessibility for their women’s safety training, in partnership with Welsh Women’s Aid and Aberystwyth University.
  • Campaign of the Year – Grand Days Out in collaboration with Age Cymru.
  • Frontline Employee / Community Champion of the Year.

The National Transport Awards spotlight the commitment, expertise and innovation of those working to continually enhance the transport networks across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.   

Sarah Turton is a Revenue Protection Inspector at Stagecoach’s Cwmbran depot, and has been shortlisted for Frontline Employee / Community Champion of the Year 

Described as “a true team player, who works diligently and collaboratively” by Commercial Director, Christian Reed, Sarah will join her colleagues at the award ceremony in London in October.  

Speaking of the news, Martin Gibbon, Managing Director of Stagecoach South Wales, said:  “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for four categories at the National Transport Awards.

The awards will be presented at the Westminster Park Plaza in London on 2nd October.
