Free travel on service 500 for a week starting from Sunday 23rd July 2023.

Residents are to benefit from free travel for a week on the new bus service between Chichester & Littlehampton.

Stagecoach is to offer FREE bus travel, every day, for a whole week, on its new number 500 bus service between Chichester, Shopwhyke, Barnham Yapton and Littlehampton.

The FREE bus travel will be available, as an introductory offer, during the week of 23rd July - 29th July inclusive.

Marc Reddy, Managing Director for Stagecoach South said "Bus services are an incredibly important part of our urban and rural transport network. The introduction of the new 500 bus service represents a significant investment in our network. It aims to enhance connectivity, ease traffic congestion, and provide a convenient and cost-effective mode of transport for workers, residents and visitors to the area.”

The new service 500, which is the culmination of a partnership campaign with West Sussex County Council and the Department for Transport, was introduced on Sunday 2nd July, and provides a half-hourly bus frequency, Mondays to Saturdays, between Chichester and Littlehampton via Shopwhyke, Barnham and Yapton. On Sunday’s buses run hourly.
