New bus route coming to Barnham and Yapton

From Sunday 2nd July residents in Fontwell, Westergate, Barnham and Yapton can enjoy a brand-new Stagecoach bus service.  

Connecting Chichester and Littlehampton, the new 500 service has been made possible with funding from West Sussex County Council and the Government's Bus Back Better strategy.

The route runs between Chichester, St Richard's Hospital, Shopwhyke, Tangmere, Fontwell, Barnham, Yapton and Littlehampton.  Buses will run every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays and into the evening.

“We’re really excited to announce this new service in partnership with the County Council.  With the current cost of living, we know many people think carefully about how and when they travel.  The bus offers fantastic new opportunities for village residents - whether for shopping, work or leisure”
